1950s Jungle Armchair

This beautiful cocktail chair came from Germany, a classic 1950s shape. It is re-upholstered in 100% cotton Sanderson Manila jungle print to the front and Designers Guild Dirilo in leaf green to the back. When I stripped off the old fabric I found a six pence, a shopping list written in German, and a jigsaw postcard with a message written on the back, so it isn't short of stories I'm sure. I think it would look great in a conservatory surrounded by green foliage. It's very comfortable and has a fully sprung seat.
