Are you looking for a pool, but somehow summer is already halfway over and you don't know if it's still worth the effort? We think: Absolutely! Because we have put together some small pools that can be set up in no time at all so that you can swim in them soon. And others, well, they take a little longer but will be ready by next summer at the latest. Many prefabricated pools can now be installed in a short time and do not require large excavations. Let's take a look at our book of ideas—approved by gardeners.
With a whirlpool, you are well equipped even in the evenings or in the colder months. You can relax wonderfully here—regardless of the outside temperature. Convince yourself of the diverse possibilities of a whirlpool and choose your favourite model.
In this ideas book we answer questions like: Covering a pool with wood—what does that look like? Or: How can I cover an above-ground pool and a steel wall pool? How can you install a pool without concrete? What does a half-submerged pool look like? Read through our ideas book now and let our tips convince you. We are excited to see whether you decide on a great mini pool for your garden!
Do you need even more inspiration? Then read this book of ideas: Small but mighty: 6 mini pools.
We start with a prefabricated model from NATURALIS, which sells a pool with a wooden cover. It comes with a steel/concrete frame and is clad in wood on the outside. This makes it look like part of nature and fits beautifully into the garden. The angled pool with entry ladder measures 4.55 metres x 4.55 metres and is 1.28 metres deep—but the company also sells its pools in other sizes. The construction has the advantage that it is weatherproof, easy to maintain and, thanks to the prefabricated models, also offers good value for money.

Similar in construction, but larger is this model from NATURALIS, which is 4.34 metres x 5.96 metres—also with a depth of 1.28 metres. What is unbeatable is that—once the garden is prepared—the swimming pool can be set up in a very short time. The construction is simple and robust—exactly what you need for a family pool that will be used a lot.
Another quick solution for a pool in the garden is presented by the company Pool + Wellness City with its steel wall pools. They are unbeatably interesting because they can be integrated into the garden without any excavation work. But there is another way. The pools can just as easily disappear into the ground and create a beautiful pool landscape. The robust side supports mean that this model can be installed completely freestanding. Wide handrails ensure safe entry into the pool.
The so-called Aqualounge is more than just a pool. It stands for socializing and well-being at the same time. Due to its great design, this pool is designed to be installed above ground. The pool consists entirely of a robust stainless steel container that is open at the front and is particularly durable. The glass itself is an extra hardened, 18-centimetre-thick safety glass.
The Woodline company also relies on wooden pools, because they represent elegance and a bit of luxury. Here too, the prefabricated models are as flexible as possible and can be set up above ground or partially or completely buried in the ground. The manufacturer states that it takes between three days and a week to set up a pool. That could even be done this summer.
If you prefer something smaller, you could opt for a whirlpool like this in your garden. This model is also freestanding but is integrated into a garden structure in such a way that it matches the wooden terrace and is an important part of it. The advantage of such whirlpools is that they are heated at all times and can be closed at any time with the appropriate cover or opened quickly if necessary.
Future Pool uses various one-piece pools that vary depending on size or possible use. In addition to durability, they focus on the elegance of the pools, which can be purchased in various colours and come with special colour particles for a 3D look.
With this small pool, the earthworks are kept to a minimum. The simple design with natural stones on the edge and a small wall in the background makes this pool look very idyllic. But the steel wall pool, which is sold in various diameters between 3 meters and 5 meters and is between 90 centimetres and 120 metres deep, can also be placed freestanding. The handrail is available in plastic or aluminium. The pools are delivered to your home in professionally assembled sets.
In the end, we present the simplest of all variants, which can still be implemented this summer and on a small budget. This inflatable pool may not be the most glamorous of all options, but it is incredibly effective. A quick-up pool like this is a welcome way to cool down for the whole family on hot days. Important for this model: The floor must be level and must not have any sharp foreign objects that could damage the shell. For example, fall protection panels that are laid under the pool are suitable for this.
